Udacity Android Nanodegree - Popular Movies 2 - Exceeds Specifications
This is a Android app to show all your favourite movies, details and trailers based on several catagories like Rating, Popularity, Revenue, Now Playing and User Favourites. I have tried to implement the whole project on the material guidelines from google by using Material Colours, Material Cards.

• Shows Movie Poster in a grid view based on user selection of the category.


• Used Fading action bar to show the backdrop of the movie selected


• Shows a review, Release Date, Rating and User Cretics.


• Opens Movie Trailers using Youtube APP (Should be pre-installed).


• Displays Additional info like Budget, Revenue, Original Language, Running Time, General, Production Companies, Tagline.


• Provides link to the movie's Website.


• Users can Favourite their movies using Favorites fab which saves the movie info locally so that it could be viewed offline.


• Share intent on the top shares the youtube trailer URL to share broadcaster.

Android Version Targeting

Devices Running Lollipop (API 21) or above are supported

Other Remarks

Make sure to add the API key from https://www.themoviedb.org/ to Build.gradle before compiling the project. Make sure you have compleSDK version of 23.0.2 installed in Android Studio
